The Now Clock, created for the Bakken Museum of Electricity, Minneapolis, 2012
The now clock is an educational interactive scultpure where participants share their collective wisdom on large circuit boards. Posting their messages with LEDs, their thoughts blink in the dark like fireflies. Kiddos learn about copper circuits, solar power and batteries, and consider their own best relationship with the nature around them - fireflies and darkness, monarchs and migration and sustainable ways to live.
